Punta Cana.- Arajet will introduce a new seasonal flight connecting Punta Cana International Airport with Ministro Pistarini International Airport in Ezeiza, Buenos Aires, starting December 14, 2024. This service aims to meet the rising travel demand between the Caribbean and South America during the high season, offering enhanced connectivity between the regions. The weekly flight will be operated on a Boeing 737-8MAX, accommodating 186 passengers in a single-class configuration. Departing Punta Cana at 8:00 a.m. and arriving in Buenos Aires at 5:15 p.m. (DM6062), the return flight leaves Buenos Aires at 8:30 p.m., landing in Punta Cana the following morning (DM6063). This addition will bring Arajet’s total weekly frequencies on this route to eight, with 34 flights monthly. The new service positions Arajet as a competitive player in the market, providing an alternative to Aerolíneas Argentinas, which currently operates 40 monthly flights on the same route.
