Independencia Avenue bus corridor to start in January 2026

Minister of the Presidency Jose Ignacio Paliza has announced that as of January 2026 new buses will be running the Corredor de la Independencia. He made the announcement during the 8 December 2025 press conference.

He said the buses are already in the country.

The transport routes are operated by bus companies pre-selected by the government. Paliza did not announce which entity had received the concession for exclusive bus transport on the Independencia Avenue.
